About Me
For as long as I can remember, I have been surrounded by animals, and working with them was always my childhood dream. I hold an MSc in Equine Performance, Health and Welfare, with experience as a self-employed groom, in animal science and as a veterinary care assistant.
I started The Pet Hand to offer the kind of reliable, friendly care I would trust with my own animals. Whether it is a countryside walk, a home visit or caring for your horse, every animal receives the same love and attention I would give my own.

Wouldn’t leave them in the hands of anyone else
Becky looked after my two kitties whilst I was away for over a week. Sent me daily pictures and updates and went above and beyond cleaning up after the messy pair. Couldn’t recommend Becky enough for looking after our doggies whilst we went on holiday. She treated them like her own and truly spoilt them! Lots of walks, play time and of course snuggles!❤️ We got regular updates and lots of photos!

We knew she was the right person for the job
Becky took great care of our cat when we went on holiday. From the moment we met Becky, during a home visit, we knew she was the right person for the job. She made sure she knew as much as possible to continue our cat's normal routine and ensured he still got lots of fuss and attention too!
